That's right, Maserati made motorcycles - up until 1961. The Trident marque purchased Italmoto of Bologna and fabricated motorcycles for a relatively short period of time. This 160 T4 TL was built from 1955 to 1960. This particular specimen is a 1956 model owned by James Dillard of Denver, Colorado. Its 158 cc displacement, single cylinder, pushrod engine probably wouldn't frighten off a Ducati , or even a Honda PCX-150 scooter, but it sure would look fantastic next to your spanking new Ghibli.
